What we collect

Your email address and, where you give it, your first name, when you sign up for the newsletter, a free resource or a course.
If you are a student, your account details and the details of your purchase.
Basic analytics about how the site is used.

Why we use it

To send you what you signed up for, including the newsletter.
To give students course access and send receipts.
To understand how the site is used and improve it.

Where it is stored and who processes it

We use these services to run the site and the courses:

Vercel hosts the website.
Neon hosts our database, which holds student accounts and course progress.
MailerLite stores our email lists and sends the newsletter and free resources.
Stripe processes payments.
Clerk handles student sign-in.
Google (Gmail) sends emails to students.
Tally runs forms inside the courses, such as feedback forms.
Google Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics measure how the site is used.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses cookies to keep students signed in and to run Google Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics, which tell us which pages are visited and where visitors come from. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time with the link in every email, or by emailing info@futureproofds.com. If you are in the EU or the UK, you also have the rights the GDPR gives you, including the right to object to processing and to complain to your data protection authority.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while you are subscribed or a student, and delete it when you ask us to.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
